Sony Ericsson Announces Two New Smart Phones Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro

Sony Ericsson announces two new compact smart phones in Xperia line up, Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro. Both of the phones are manufactured eco-friendly with Sony Ericsson GreenHeart technology and powered with Android Gingerbread (2.3) operating system. Xperia Mini is the world’s smallest HD video recording smart phone.
Both of the phones have 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5 mega pixel camera with HD (720 px) video recording capabilities.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Features:

Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro features:

  • Android Gingerbread OS, 1 GHz Qualcomm processor.
  • 5 MP camera with 720p HD video recording
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, DLNA
  • aGPS navigation using WisePilot.
  • Compact and super fast messaging smart phone.
  • Available in Black, White, Pink and Turquoise colors.

 

The main difference between both of the devices is Xperia Mini Pro equipped with a slide out landscape QWERTY keyboard hence has slightly larger in size.

These devices are expected to hit the global market near July 2011. The price of these handsets have not been announced yet.
